Statistics: E-sales of big, medium stores rise 9% on month in Nov

MOSCOW, Dec 31 (PRIME) -- Online sales of Russia’s large and medium-sized stores spiked by 110% on the year in November and by 9% on the month, the Federal State Statistics Service said late on Wednesday in a statement.

The share of e-commerce in total retail turnover increased to 6.5% in November from 3.4% in the same month of 2019. In October, the indicator stood at 5.9%.

“DNS, Ozon, Wildberries, M.Video, and Citilink account for over 60% in the total volume of e-commerce,” the service said.

Retail turnover fell by 3.1% on the year in November and by 1.2% on the month.
